Storage is yours for world saves, mod files and server configuration. If you need more than 40 GB, or more than 6 GB of memory, ask us about a custom plan — we will size it with you rather than upselling you a tier you do not need. Upgrades apply immediately and we prorate, so you are never locked into a size that is too small.
Terraria servers hold a maximum of 8 players, so player count is not the variable that decides your plan. World size and mod count are. These are approximate figures — treat them as a starting point.

The honest advice: a vanilla world that has not been explored much costs very little memory, and the figure climbs as the map fills in and bosses get defeated. If you are undecided, order the tier above where you think you land and downgrade if it turns out to be generous. A server that never stutters beats one you overpaid for out of caution.
